From January 5, 2025, how to calculateenvironmental protection fee for emissionsin Vietnam?
According to Article 5 ofDecree 153/2024/ND-CP, xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái method of environmental protection fee for emissions is stipulated as follows:
(1) Environmental protection fees for emissions payable in a fee-paying period are calculated according to xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái following formula:
F = f + C.
Where:
- F is xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái total fee payable in xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái fee-paying period (quarter or year).
- f is xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái fixed fee as stipulated in Clause 1, Article 6 ofDecree 153/2024/ND-CP(quarter or year).
- C is xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái variable fee, calculated quarterly.

- xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái emission flowrate and xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái concentration of each pollutant in xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái emissions at each emission stream during xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái fee-paying period are determined as follows:
+ For facilities discharging emissions with periodic monitoring:xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái emission flowrate is determined based on xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái rate recorded in xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái environmental permit; xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái concentration of each pollutant in xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái emissions is determined based on periodic monitoring data every 3 months as prescribed in Article 98 ofDecree No. 08/2022/ND-CPdated January 10, 2022, by xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái Government of Vietnam, detailing several articles of xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cáiEnvironmental Protection Law 2020.
In cases where xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái facility has a periodic monitoring frequency of 6 months, as prescribed in Article 98 ofDecree 08/2022/ND-CP, xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái declaration, and calculation of fees for a non-monitoring quarter is based on data from xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái prior monitoring period.
+ For facilities discharging emissions with automatic and continuous monitoring:xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái emission flowrate and concentration of each pollutant in xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái emissions are determined by xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái average value of xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái measurement results (according to xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái technical characteristics of each equipment type).
(2) For facilities discharging emissions that are subject to automatic and continuous emission monitoring or periodic monitoring according to xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái environmental permit (hereinafter referred to as facilities subject to emission monitoring): xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái environmental protection fees for emissions to be paid are xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái total fees (F) determined according to xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái formula provided in Clause 1, Article 5 ofDecree 153/2024/ND-CP.
(3) For facilities discharging emissions not subject to emission monitoring: xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái environmental protection fee for emissions to be paid is xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái fixed charge (f) as stipulated in Clause 1, Article 6 ofDecree 153/2024/ND-CP.

According to Article 6 ofDecree 153/2024/ND-CP, xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái rate for environmental protection fees for emissions is as follows:
(1) For facilities discharging emissions not subject to emission monitoring
xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái fixed fee rate (f): 3,000,000 VND/year. In cases where xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái fee payer pays quarterly, xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái fee is calculated at f/4 for one quarter.
If a facility discharging emissions begins operation after xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái effective date ofNghị định 153/2024/NĐ-CPor a facility was operating prior: xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái fee payable = (f/12) x fee-calculation period (months).
Where xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái fee-calculation period is xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái time from xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái month following xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái effective month of this Decree (applies to ongoing facilities) or xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái start-up month (applies to new facilities from xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái effective date) to xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái end of xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái quarter or year.
(2) For facilities subject to emission monitoring
- xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái fixed fee rate (f) is implemented according to Clause 1, Article 6 ofDecree 153/2024/ND-CP
- xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái variable fee rate for pollutants within emissions is as follows:

xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái variable fee rate for that substance is 75% of xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái payable fee calculated according to xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái formula determining xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái variable fee of each pollutant in xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái emission stream as prescribed in Point c, Clause 1, Article 5 ofDecree 153/2024/ND-CP
- In each emission stream, if xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái average concentration of a pollutant is more than 30% lower than xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái regulatory standard for emissions or local government regulations (if any):
xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái variable fee rate for that substance is 50% of xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái payable fee calculated according to xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái formula determining xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái variable fee of each pollutant in xem bóng đá trực tiếp nhà cái emission stream as prescribed in Point c, Clause 1, Article 5 ofDecree 153/2024/ND-CP
