How much will vocational teachers' salaries be when statutory pay rate increases in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Clause 9 Article 14Circular 07/2023/TT-BLDTBXHstipulates as follows:

Salary gradeing for vocational public employees

Public employees gradeed into vocational job titles stipulated in this Circular are applied the corresponding salary table issued together with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP dated December 14, 2004, of the Government of Vietnam on salary policies for officials and public employees and armed forces. Specifically:

4. Vocational practice lecturer - Code: V.09.02.04, is applied the salary coefficient of public employee type A0 from salary coefficient 2.10 to salary coefficient 4.89.

5. Senior vocational teacher - Code: V.09.02.05, is applied the salary coefficient of public employee type A3 group 2 (A3.2), from salary coefficient 5.75 to salary coefficient 7.55.

6. Principal vocational teacher - Code: V.09.02.06, is applied the salary coefficient of public employee type A2 group 1 (A2.1) from salary coefficient 4.40 to salary coefficient 6.78.

7. Vocational theory teacher - Code: V.09.02.07, is applied the salary coefficient of public employee type A1 from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98.

8. Vocational practice teacher - Code: V.09.02.08, is applied the salary coefficient of public employee type A0 from salary coefficient 2.10 to salary coefficient 4.89.

9. Vocational teacher - Code: V.09.02.09, is applied the salary coefficient of public employee type B from salary coefficient 1.86 to salary coefficient 4.06.

Thus, principal vocational teachers are applied the salary coefficient of public employee type A2 group 1 (A2.1) from salary coefficient 4.40 to salary coefficient 6.78.

According toCircular 07/2024/TT-BNV, the salary of official public employees is calculated as follows:

Salary = statutory pay rate x Salary coefficient

At the same time, underNghị định 73/2024/NĐ-CPwhen implementing the statutory pay rate increase to 2,340,000 VND/month, the salary calculation for teachers from July 1, 2024, is as follows:

Salary = 2,340,000 VND x Salary coefficient

Thus, when the statutory pay rate increases to 2.34, the salaries of principal vocational teachers can range from 10,296,000 VND/month to 15,865,200 VND/month.

What are thetasks of principal vocational teachers in Vietnam?

According to the provisions of Clause 1 Article 10Circular 07/2023/TT-BLDTBXH, principal vocational teachers must perform 05 tasks including:

- Teaching theory trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay both theory and practice at the intermediate level; teaching at the elementary level; evaluating students' learning outcomes and graduation results;

- Leading trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay participating in organizing professional activities within the subject, department, and vocational education institution; performing scientific and technological tasks trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay technical improvement initiatives at the institution level trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay higher; organizing activities for scientific and technological consulting and technology transfer; writing scientific reports and exchanging experiences in vocational education within and outside the country;

- Leading trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay participating in compiling trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay appraising programs, textbooks, reference materials for teaching; designing, improving, manufacturing teaching aids, equipment for teaching, building, and managing specialized classrooms;

- Studying and upgrading qualifications, improving skills; interning at enterprises trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay specialized agencies; attending classes, exchanging teaching experiences; training and developing the team of teachers according to the professional, specialized development requirements of the subject, department, and vocational education institution;

- Guiding internships, internships combined with production labor; preparing students for skill competitions at different levels.

Do principal vocational teachers in Vietnam need proficiency in foreign languages?

Pursuant to Clause 3 Article 10Circular 07/2023/TT-BLDTBXHstipulates as follows:

3. Standards of professional capacity

a) Possess in-depth knowledge of the assigned teaching sector trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay profession; have knowledge of related sectors trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay professions; understand the professional practices, scientific and technological advances, and new technologies of the assigned teaching sector trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay profession;

b) Master knowledge of pedagogy, skillfully apply pedagogical techniques and methods in teaching;

*c)Possess proficiency in foreign languages and apply information technology in performing the duties of the principal vocational teacher position according to job position requirements;

d) Master research methods in educational science, vocational education, and technology; know how to organize and perform scientific and technological tasks, apply research results and scientific and technological advances trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay technical improvement initiatives in teaching and professional practice;

đ) Be the chief author trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay participate in compiling 01 (one) textbook trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay 01 (one) specialized book trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay 02 (two) training, retraining programs suitable to the assigned teaching sector trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay profession that has been published;

e) Lead trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay participate in performing 01 (one) scientific and technological task at the institution level trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay higher that has been accepted with satisfactory results trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay is the main author of 01 (one) scientific article published in international trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay domestic scientific journals (in the list of points evaluated by the State Professorship Council);

g) Win a prize in the provincial teaching competition trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay lead trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay participate in designing and manufacturing at least 01 (one) teaching aid trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay equipment that wins a prize in the provincial-level self-made teaching equipment contest trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay win a prize in other contests trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay competitions at the provincial level trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay higher trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay train at least 01 (one) teacher, lecturer who wins a prize in the provincial teaching competition trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay train at least 01 (one) student who wins a prize in other contests trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay competitions at the provincial level trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay higher;

If a public employee does not meet 01 (one) out of the 03 (three) standards stipulated at points đ, e, and g of this clause, then one of the remaining two standards must be met twice;

h) An employee promoted to the position of principal vocational teacher must have held the position of vocational theory teacher - Code V.09.02.07 trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay grade III vocational theory teacher - Code V.09.02.07 trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay vocational practice teacher - Code V.09.02.08 trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay grade III vocational practice teacher - Code V.09.02.08 trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay secondary school teacher - Code 15.113 trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay secondary school teacher (not meeting standards) - Code 15c.207 trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay equivalent for at least 09 (nine) years, of which the most recent time must have held the position of vocational theory teacher - Code V.09.02.07 trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay grade III vocational theory teacher - Code V.09.02.07 trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay vocational practice teacher - Code V.09.02.08 trực tiếp bóng đá việt nam hôm nay grade III vocational practice teacher - Code V.09.02.08 for a minimum of 01 (one) year (12 months).

Thus, principal vocational teachers must have proficiency in foreign languages in performing their duties as required by the job position of a principal vocational teacher.
