What are procedures forselecting Grade 5 textbooks in educational institutions in Vietnam?

As stipulated in Article 7 trực tiếp bóng đá k+Circular 27/2023/TT-BGDDT, the procedures for selecting Grade 5 textbooks in educational institutions in Vietnam are as follows:

- The Council prepares a plan for organizing the selection trực tiếp bóng đá k+ textbooks for the educational institution and assigns tasks to its members.

- Organization trực tiếp bóng đá k+ textbook selection in subject groups

+ Based on the Council's plan and criteria for selecting textbooks, the head trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the subject group prepares a plan for selecting textbooks for each subject within the group’s structure and reports to the head trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the institution before implementation;

+ Organize for all subject teachers trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the educational institution (including permanent, contracted, seconded, guest lecturers, and inter-school teachers) to participate in the selection trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the subject’s textbooks;

+ At least 20 days before the first meeting trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the subject group, the head trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the subject group organizes for subject teachers to review the subject’s textbooks, write evaluation sheets, and assess the textbooks based on the criteria for textbook selection;

+ The head trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the subject group organizes a meeting with subject teachers to discuss, vote, and select one (1) textbook for the subject.

In case there is only one (1) textbook for the subject approved by the Minister trực tiếp bóng đá k+ Education and Training, the subject group selects the textbook according to the decision without needing to vote.

The selected textbook must have more than half (1/2) trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the subject teachers voting for it.

In case no textbook receives more than half (1/2) trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the votes, the subject group must discuss and re-vote. The selected textbook will be the one with the highest number trực tiếp bóng đá k+ votes in the second vote.

In both voting rounds, if there are two (2) textbooks with an equal highest number trực tiếp bóng đá k+ votes, the head trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the subject group will decide which one to select.

The meetings trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the subject group must be recorded in minutes, fully documenting the opinions and evaluations trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the participating teachers, with signatures trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the group head and the person assigned to record the minutes;

+ The head trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the subject group compiles the results, lists the selected textbooks, and signs the list along with the person assigned to compile the textbook list.

- The Council meets to discuss and evaluate the organization trực tiếp bóng đá k+ textbook selection by the subject groups; appraises the meeting minutes trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the subject groups; reviews the evaluation sheets and assessments trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the textbooks by the teachers as stipulated in clause 2, Article 7 trực tiếp bóng đá k+Circular 27/2023/TT-BGDDT; compiles the selection results trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the subject groups into a report (including comments and evaluations on the organization trực tiếp bóng đá k+ textbook selection by the subject groups and the list trực tiếp bóng đá k+ selected textbooks from the subject groups), with signatures trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the Chairman and Secretary trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the Council.

- The Council proposes to the head trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the institution a list trực tiếp bóng đá k+ textbooks selected by the subject groups in accordance withThông tư 27/2023/TT-BGDĐT.

- The educational institution prepares a dossier trực tiếp bóng đá k+ selected textbooks and sends it to the Department trực tiếp bóng đá k+ Education and Training (for primary and lower secondary levels), and the Provincial Department trực tiếp bóng đá k+ Education and Training (for upper secondary levels).

What are current prerequisite conditions for grade 5 textbooks in Vietnam?

According to Article 4 trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the Regulations on standards, processes for compiling, editing textbooks; standards for organizations and individuals compiling textbooks; organization and activities trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the national textbook appraisal council issued together withCircular 33/2017/TT-BGDDT, the prerequisite conditions for grade 5 textbooks in Vietnam are as follows:

- The content and form trực tiếp bóng đá k+ textbooks must not violate the laws trực tiếp bóng đá k+ Vietnam and must conform to national standards for publications.

- The content and form trực tiếp bóng đá k+ textbooks must not contain biases based on ethnicity, religion, occupation, gender, age, or social status.
