Can upper secondaryschool students in Vietnam be promoted if they miss more than 45 days?
Based on Article 12 ofCircular 22/2021/TT-BGDDT:
Promotion, reassessment during summer break, non-promotion
1. Students who meet trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay following conditions will be promoted or recognized for completing trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay secondary education or upper secondary school program:
a) trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay annual conduct result (including trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay reassessment result after conduct improvement during trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay summer break as regulated in Article 13 of this Circular) must be at a satisfactory level or higher.
b) trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay annual academic result (including trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay reassessment of subjects according to Article 14 of this Circular) must be at a satisfactory level or higher.
c) trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay student must not miss more than 45 school days in an academic year (calculated according to trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay educational plan of one session per day as stipulated in trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay General Education Program, including both excused and unexcused absences, continuous or non-continuous absences).
2. Students who have to improve conduct during trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay summer break will follow trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay regulations in Article 13 of this Circular; students who have to retake subject assessments during trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay summer break will follow trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay regulations in Article 14 of this Circular.
3. Students who do not meet trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay requirements stipulated in clause 1 of this Article will not be promoted or recognized for completing trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay secondary education or upper secondary school program.

Upper secondary school students are only allowed to miss a maximum of 45 days in an academic year (including both excused and unexcused absences) except for legal holidays.
If upper secondary school students miss more than 45 days in an academic year, they will not be promoted.
How many times can secondary school students in Vietnam repeat a grade in one academic stage?
According to clause 3 of Article 33 of trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay Regulations on lower secondary schools, upper secondary schools, and multi-level schools issued together withCircular 32/2020/TT-BGDDT, trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay age of upper secondary school students is as follows:
Age of Students in Secondary Schools
- trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay age for students enrolling in grade 6 is 11 years. trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay age for students enrolling in grade 10 is 15 years. For those students who skipped a grade in trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay previous stage or students entering a stage at an age higher than trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay specified age, trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay age for enrolling in grade 6 and grade 10 is reduced or increased based on trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay graduation age of trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay previous stage.
- Ethnic minority students, students with disabilities, students with special difficulties, and returning overseas students may enter a stage at an age up to 3 years older than trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay specified age.
3. Students are not allowed to repeat a grade more than 3 times in one academic stage.
4. Students with good health and early intelligence development may enter school earlier or skip a grade within a stage. Each specific case is considered according to trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay following steps:
a) Parents or guardians submit a request to trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay school.
b) trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay principal establishes an assessment and advisory council including trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay following basic members: representatives of trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay school leadership and trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay parent committee; trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay teacher of trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay class trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay student is attending.
c) Based on trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay assessment result of trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay council, trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay principal considers and decides.
5. Students within trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay specified age returning from overseas, and children of foreigners working in Vietnam may study at trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay secondary school at their place of residence or at another secondary school if trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay school can accommodate them. Each specific case is considered according to trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay following steps:
a) Parents or guardians submit a request to trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay school.
b) trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay principal organizes an assessment of trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay student's level and places them in trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay appropriate class.
Thus, upper secondary school students are not allowed to repeat a grade more than 3 times in one academic stage.
Therefore, upper secondary school students are allowed to repeat a grade 3 times in trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay lower secondary education stage and 3 times in trực tiếp bóng đá hôm nay upper secondary education stage.
