The Ministry đá bóng trực tiếp Education and Training has recently announced a Draft Circular for the issuance đá bóng trực tiếp the Admission Regulation for Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary School Education. To be specific, in Clause 2, Article 14 đá bóng trực tiếp the Draft Circular for the Admission Regulation for Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary School Education, there is a proposal to award additional points to children đá bóng trực tiếp revolutionary officers born before 1945 for Grade 10 admission. To be specific:
Eligible subjects for additional points are categorized into 3 groups: Group 1 will receive an additional 2.0 points; Group 2 will receive an additional 1.5 points; Group 3 will receive an additional 1.0 point. The priority points are added to the total admission score calculated on a 10-point scale for each subject.
Eligible Subjects Group 1:
- Children đá bóng trực tiếp martyrs;
- Children đá bóng trực tiếp war invalids with a labor capacity loss đá bóng trực tiếp 81% or more;
- Children đá bóng trực tiếp diseased soldiers with a labor capacity loss đá bóng trực tiếp 81% or more;
- Children đá bóng trực tiếp individuals awarded the "Certificate đá bóng trực tiếp Policy Beneficiary as War Invalids" where the certificate holder has a labor capacity reduction đá bóng trực tiếp 81% or more;
- Children đá bóng trực tiếp individuals who participated in the revolutionary resistance and were affected by chemical agents;
- Children đá bóng trực tiếp individuals who participated in revolutionary activities before January 1, 1945;
- Children đá bóng trực tiếp individuals who participated in revolutionary activities from January 1, 1945, to the August 1945 uprising.
Eligible Subjects Group 2:
- Children đá bóng trực tiếp Heroes đá bóng trực tiếp the Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers;
- Children đá bóng trực tiếp war invalids with a labor capacity loss below 81%;
- Children đá bóng trực tiếp diseased soldiers with a labor capacity loss below 81%;
- Children đá bóng trực tiếp individuals awarded the "Certificate đá bóng trực tiếp Policy Beneficiary as War Invalids" where the certificate holder has a labor capacity reduction below 81%.
Eligible Subjects Group 3:
- Individuals with either father or mother being an ethnic minority;
- Ethnic minority individuals;
- Students living and studying in areas classified as particularly difficult, including areas 1, 2, 3, specially disadvantaged villages, coastal areas, or islands as designated by the Prime Minister đá bóng trực tiếp the Government đá bóng trực tiếp Vietnam.
Thus, if the draft is approved, children đá bóng trực tiếp individuals who contributed to the revolutionary cause before 1945 classified under Group 1 will be awarded an additional 2.0 points for Grade 10 admissions.
Note: The Ministry đá bóng trực tiếp Education and Training is still soliciting feedback on the Draft Circular for the Admission Regulation for Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary School Education and has not finalized which subjects will receive additional points for Grade 10.

According to Clause 2, Article 5 đá bóng trực tiếpCircular 11/2014/TT-BGDDT:
Subjects and Methods đá bóng trực tiếp Admissions
- The subjects đá bóng trực tiếp admission are students who have graduated from secondary education under either the General Education Program or the Continuing Education Program with an age in accordance with Clause 2, Article 2 đá bóng trực tiếp this Regulation.
- upper secondary school admissions are organized in one đá bóng trực tiếp the following three methods:
a) Admission based on the academic and training results đá bóng trực tiếp the four years in secondary education đá bóng trực tiếp the applicant. If the student repeats a grade, the results đá bóng trực tiếp the repeated year đá bóng trực tiếp that grade will be considered;
b) Enrollment examination;
c) Combination đá bóng trực tiếp enrollment examination with selection based on academic records.
Thus, there are 03 methods for grade 10 admission examination in Vietnam. To be specific:
- Selection based on the academic and training results đá bóng trực tiếp the four years in secondary education đá bóng trực tiếp the applicant. If the student repeats a grade, the results đá bóng trực tiếp the repeated year đá bóng trực tiếp that grade will be considered;
- Enrollment examination;
- Combination đá bóng trực tiếp enrollment examination with selection based on academic records.
What are regulations on direct admission cases and priority policies in grade 10 admission examination in Vietnam?
Based on Article 7 đá bóng trực tiếpCircular 11/2014/TT-BGDDT(amended by Clauses 3 and 4 đá bóng trực tiếp Article 1 đá bóng trực tiếpCircular 05/2018/TT-BGDDTand Article 1 đá bóng trực tiếpCircular 18/2014/TT-BGDDT):
(1) Direct admission to upper secondary school for the following subjects:
- Students from ethnic boarding schools;
- Students from very small ethnic groups;
- Disabled students;
- Students who have won national and international prizes in academics; arts; sports; national scientific and technical competitions for lower secondary school and upper secondary school students.
(2) Subjects eligible for additional priority points.
The Departments đá bóng trực tiếp Education and Training determine the additional points for each group đá bóng trực tiếp eligible subjects, with a difference đá bóng trực tiếp 0.5 points on a 10-point scale between two consecutive priority groups, including:
- Group 1:
