What are procedures forthe selection of textbooks in Vietnam?
Based on Article 7Circular 27/2023/TT-BGDDT, đá bóng trực tiếp procedures for đá bóng trực tiếp selection of textbooks in Vietnam are as follows:
Step 1:đá bóng trực tiếp council builds a plan to organize đá bóng trực tiếp selection of textbooks for đá bóng trực tiếp educational institution; assigns tasks to đá bóng trực tiếp council members.
Step 2:Organize textbook selection at đá bóng trực tiếp specialized group
- Based on đá bóng trực tiếp council's plan and textbook selection criteria, đá bóng trực tiếp head of đá bóng trực tiếp specialized group develops a plan to organize đá bóng trực tiếp selection of textbooks for each subject structured in đá bóng trực tiếp specialized group, reporting to đá bóng trực tiếp head before implementation;
- Organize for all teachers of đá bóng trực tiếp subject at đá bóng trực tiếp educational institution (including regular, contract, seconded, visiting, and inter-school teachers) to participate in selecting textbooks for that subject;
- No later than 20 days before đá bóng trực tiếp first meeting of đá bóng trực tiếp specialized group, đá bóng trực tiếp head organizes for teachers of đá bóng trực tiếp subject to study đá bóng trực tiếp textbooks, write review sheets, and evaluate đá bóng trực tiếp textbooks according to đá bóng trực tiếp selection criteria;
- đá bóng trực tiếp head organizes a meeting with đá bóng trực tiếp subject teachers to discuss and vote on choosing one textbook for that subject. In case a subject only has one textbook approved by đá bóng trực tiếp Minister of Education and Training, đá bóng trực tiếp specialized group selects đá bóng trực tiếp textbook from đá bóng trực tiếp decision without voting.
đá bóng trực tiếp chosen textbook must ensure that at least 1/2 of đá bóng trực tiếp subject teachers vote for it.
If no textbook receives votes from at least 1/2 of đá bóng trực tiếp subject teachers, đá bóng trực tiếp specialized group must discuss and vote again; đá bóng trực tiếp chosen textbook is đá bóng trực tiếp one with đá bóng trực tiếp highest number of votes in đá bóng trực tiếp second round.
In both rounds of voting, if there are at least two textbooks receiving đá bóng trực tiếp highest number of votes equally, đá bóng trực tiếp head decides to choose one among those textbooks.
Meetings of đá bóng trực tiếp specialized group must have minutes, including full comments and evaluations of đá bóng trực tiếp textbooks from participating teachers, signed by đá bóng trực tiếp head and đá bóng trực tiếp person assigned to record đá bóng trực tiếp minutes;
- đá bóng trực tiếp head compiles đá bóng trực tiếp results, creates a list of textbooks selected by đá bóng trực tiếp specialized group, signed by đá bóng trực tiếp head and đá bóng trực tiếp person assigned to create đá bóng trực tiếp list.
Step 3:đá bóng trực tiếp council convenes to discuss and evaluate đá bóng trực tiếp organization of textbook selection by đá bóng trực tiếp specialized groups; verifies đá bóng trực tiếp meeting minutes of đá bóng trực tiếp groups; collects review sheets and textbook evaluations from teachers; compiles đá bóng trực tiếp results into minutes (including comments, evaluations about đá bóng trực tiếp organization of selections by đá bóng trực tiếp groups; đá bóng trực tiếp list of textbooks chosen by đá bóng trực tiếp groups), signed by đá bóng trực tiếp Chairman and Secretary of đá bóng trực tiếp council.
Step 4:đá bóng trực tiếp council proposes to đá bóng trực tiếp head đá bóng trực tiếp list of textbooks selected by đá bóng trực tiếp groups in accordance with đá bóng trực tiếp regulations.
Step 5:đá bóng trực tiếp educational institution prepares đá bóng trực tiếp textbook selection dossier to send to đá bóng trực tiếp Department of Education and Training (for primary and lower secondary schools), Department of Education and Training (for upper secondary schools). đá bóng trực tiếp dossier includes:
- Decision to establish đá bóng trực tiếp council of đá bóng trực tiếp educational institution;
- Minutes of đá bóng trực tiếp council meetings as prescribed;
- đá bóng trực tiếp list of textbooks chosen by đá bóng trực tiếp educational institution.
* đá bóng trực tiếp educational institutions includeprimary schools, lower secondary schools, upper secondary schools, schools with multiple educational levels, centers for continuing education, vocational - continuing education centers, and educational institutions implementing regular educational programs at đá bóng trực tiếp lower secondary and upper secondary school levels (clause 2, Article 1Circular 27/2023/TT-BGDDT).
