What is the College-level midwifery?
Based on sub-section 1, Section A, Part 9 of the Regulations issued together withCircular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, which is amended by Clause 7, Article 147 ofDecree 96/2023/ND-CP, the college-level midwifery profession is defined as follows:
Midwifery at the college level is a profession that involves providing health care trực tiếp bóng đá k+ women during pregnancy, ensuring safe delivery; advising on reproductive health care trực tiếp bóng đá k+ women of all ages; diagnosing some common gynecological conditions; advising and offering family planning services; providing safe abortion services trực tiếp bóng đá k+ pregnancies under 7 weeks; child health care; extended immunization, etc., meeting the requirements of Level 5 in the Vietnamese National Qualifications Framework.
Midwifery tasks are primarily carried out in specialized Obstetric and Pediatric hospitals; the Obstetric departments of central, provincial, and district hospitals; district health centers; commune and ward health stations, and the community.
The workload trực tiếp bóng đá k+ midwives is relatively high, requiring focus and a high sense of responsibility to achieve patient satisfaction.
To ensure the efficiency of midwifery tasks, a conducive working environment with adequate facilities, occupational safety equipment, medical devices, and workplace regulations is essential.

Based on sub-section 3, Section A, Part 9 of the Regulations issued together withCircular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the skill requirements trực tiếp bóng đá k+ college-level midwifery students upon graduation are as follows:
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with doctors, colleagues, and clients during studies and healthcare tasks. Successfully conduct advice, communication, and health education regarding reproductive health care at healthcare facilities and in the community.
- Provide high-quality preconception care, and appropriate health education aligned with community culture. Support family planning or terminate pregnancies according to the law and national guidelines on reproductive health care services.
- Provide high-quality care trực tiếp bóng đá k+ pregnant women to ensure the best maternal health; prevent and detect obstetric complications early trực tiếp bóng đá k+ prompt management or referral.
- Provide high-quality labor and delivery care; ensure clean and safe delivery; handle emergencies ensuring the best health trực tiếp bóng đá k+ mothers and newborns.
- Provide comprehensive, high-quality postpartum care trực tiếp bóng đá k+ mothers and newborns according to care levels.- Examine and identify the health status of mothers, newborns, patients, and service users; determine the priority care needs of each subject.
- Develop care plans and execute care procedures trực tiếp bóng đá k+ mothers, newborns, patients, and service users.
- Provide initial obstetric and neonatal resuscitation; detect complications in obstetrics and gynecology to collaborate with doctors trực tiếp bóng đá k+ resolution at the primary healthcare level or safely refer to higher-level facilities.
- Manage patient wards, mothers, newborns, patients, and service users; manage medicines, equipment, consumables, and medical records.
- Utilize basic information technology according to regulations; apply information technology in professional tasks in the profession.
- Use basic foreign languages, achieving level 2/6 in the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework; apply foreign languages in professional tasks of the profession.
