What is GPA?
"What is GPA" is a question that interests university students. GPA stands for Grade Point Average which is an average score indicator used to assess a student's academic performance over a certain period, usually a semester, an academic year, or an entire study program.
Currently, Vietnamese law does not specifically define kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp concept of "GPA." However, according to common understanding:
GPA reflects an individual's academic ability through kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp average calculation of scores, often converted into a standardized grading scale (typically a 4.0 or 10.0 scale).
It is a crucial criterion in classifying academic performance, considering scholarships, transferring schools, and applying for undergraduate or postgraduate programs.

What are kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp regulations onconverting GPA at universities based onthe classification ofacademic performance in Vietnam?
According to clauses 5 and 6, Article 10 of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp Undergraduate Education Regulation issued together withCircular 08/2021/TT-BGDDT, student academic performance shall be classified based on kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp semester average grade, academic year average grade or GPA as follows:
a) On kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp 4-point scale:
From 3,6 to 4,0: excellent;
From 3,2 to under 3,6: very good;
From 2,5 to under 3,2: good;
From 2,0 to under 2,5: average;
From 1,0 to under 2,0: poor;
Under 1,0: very poor.
b) On kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp 10-point scale:
From 9,0 to 10,0: excellent;
From 8,0 to under 9,0: very good;
From 7,0 to under 8,0: good;
From 5,0 to under 7,0: average;
From 4,0 to under 5,0: poor;
Under 4,0: very poor.
Additionally, study progress shall be determined based on kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp number of credits accumulated from kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp beginning of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp course (“N”) and kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp average number of credits of an academic year according to kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp standard learning plan (“M”) as follows:
- First year: N < M;
- Second year: M ≤ N < 2M;
- Third year: 2M ≤ N < 3M;
- Fourth year: 3M ≤ N < 4M;
- Fifth year: 4M ≤ N < 5M.

According to Article 11 of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp Undergraduate Education Regulation issued together withCircular 08/2021/TT-BGDDT, it is stipulated as follows:
Handling of credit-based academic performance
1.At kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp end of each main semester, students will receive an academic warning in any of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp following cases:
a) Total number of failed credits in kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp semester exceeds more than half of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp number registered for kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp semester or total number of failed credits from kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp beginning of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp course is more than 24;
b) Semester average grade is under 0,8 for kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp first semester of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp course or under 1,0 for following semesters;
c) GPA is under 1,2 for first-year students, under 1,4 for second-year students, under 1,6 for third-year students or under 1,8 for kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp following years.
2.Students will be forced to leave school in any of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp following cases:
a) Number of academic warnings or level of academic warning received exceeds kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp permitted amount/ level according to regulations of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp training institution;
b) Study duration exceeds kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp amount of time mentioned in Clause 5 Article 2 of this Regulation.
3.Training institution regulations shall provide for kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp following matters:
a) Application of some conditions for academic warning and permitted number of academic warnings or academic warning level, which shall allow for no more than 2 consecutive warnings;
b) Procedures for academic warning and forced leave from school; and announcement of such measures to students;
c) Retention of accumulated study results in case of forced leave from school.
Under kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp above regulations, students will be forced to leave school in any of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp following cases:
- Number of academic warnings or level of academic warning received exceeds kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp permitted amount/ level according to regulations of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp training institution;
- Study duration exceeds kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp amount of time mentioned in Clause 5 Article 2 of this Regulation.
* At kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp end of each main semester, students will receive an academic warning in any of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp following cases:
- First semester of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp course: GPAisunder 0.8.
- Subsequent semesters: GPA is under 1.0.
- GPA is:
+ under 1,2 for first-year students,
+ under 1,4 for second-year students,
+ under 1,6 for third-year students or
+ under 1,8 for kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp following years
- Total number of failed credits in kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp semester exceeds more than half of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp number registered for kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp semester or kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp total number of failed credits from kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp beginning of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp course is more than 24.
