Explanation of Terminology

In this Decree, kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp following terms are understood as follows:

1. State-funded scholars are Vietnamese citizens studying abroad who receive full or partial funding for tuition, travel expenses, living expenses, and other education-related costs from one or more of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp following funding sources:

a) State-funded scholarships granted under agreements and cooperation treaties between kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp Government of Vietnam and foreign governments;

b) State-funded scholarships granted through state agencies, state enterprises, and public service providers;

c) Scholarships funded by foreign governments, official development assistance (ODA), territorial authorities, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, or individuals through kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp Government of Vietnam (hereinafter referred to as scholarships sponsored by foreign parties).

Do students receiving scholarships sponsored by foreign parties get full support for all educational expenses in Vietnam?

Based on Clause 1, Article 6Decree 86/2021/ND-CP, kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp rights and responsibilities of state-funded scholars are regulated as follows:

Rights and Responsibilities of State-funded Scholars

1. Rights of State-funded Scholars

a) To return to kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp country for internships and to collect documents for study purposes; to enjoy vacations during their study period as stipulated by kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp foreign educational institution; to return to kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp country or visit relatives in another country (third country) with kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp consent of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp authorized body of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp host country;

b) To be protected in terms of consular services and legitimate rights by Vietnamese representatives abroad during kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp study period according to regulations;

c) To receive full or partial funding for tuition, travel expenses, living expenses, and other education-related costs abroad from state budgets for students specified in points a and b of Clause 1, Article 3 of this Decree, or covered by foreign parties for students specified in point c of Clause 1, Article 3 of this Decree.

Temporary Suspension, Repetition, and Retaking of Courses

1. Students specified in points a and b of Clause 1, Article 3 of this Decree who wish to temporarily suspend their studies must get approval and have their study period adjusted by kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp sending institution. During kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp suspension period, students will not receive scholarships. After kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp suspension period, scholarships are continued. kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp total scholarship period will not exceed kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp initial study period specified in kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp decision to send kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp student to study abroad.

4. Students who repeat a year or do not complete their course requirements according to kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp foreign educational institution must retake courses and during this period will not receive scholarships. kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp continued provision of state scholarship funds is decided by kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp sending institution after students meet kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp required retake course results. kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp total scholarship period will not exceed kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp initial study period specified in kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp decision to send kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp student to study abroad. If an extension is needed, procedures must be followed according to Article 9 of this Decree.

5. Students specified in point c of Clause 1, Article 3 of this Decree, if they temporarily suspend, repeat or retake courses, must follow kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp procedures stipulated in Clauses 2, 3, and 4 of this Article and comply with kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp regulations of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp foreign party sponsoring kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp scholarship.

Thus, students receiving scholarships sponsored by foreign parties must comply with kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp regulations of kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp foreign party sponsoring kết quả bóng đá trực tiếp scholarship if they temporarily suspend their studies.
