Article 70. Rights and obligations of children

Article 71. Obligation and right bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp care for and raise

1. Father and mother have equal obligation and right bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp jointly care for and raise their minor children or adult children who have lost their civil act capacity or have-no working capacity and no property bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp support themselves.

2. Children have the obligation and right bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp care for and support their parents, especially when their parents lose their civil act capacity, are sick, become old and weak or have disabilities. For a family with several children, these children shall together care for and support their parents.

Thus, the obligations of children towards their parents are stipulated as follows:

(1) bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp love, respect, show gratitude and dutifulness bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp and support their parents, bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp preserve the honor and good traditions of their family.

3. What are penalties for acts of neglecting bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp provide care and support for parents in Vietnam?

Many people still believe that only physical abuse constitutes mistreatment of parents. In reality, even neglecting bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp provide care and support for parents, causing them emotional harm, leading bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp their mental distress, weakening their health, or subjecting them bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp adverse consequences, is considered a violation of the law and can be subject bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp severe legal consequences.

According bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp Article 57 ofDecree No. 144/2021/ND-CPregulating violations against regulations on care, nurture, or support, acts of denying or evading the support and nurturing obligations for parents  will be fined from 5,000,000 VND bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp 10,000,000 VND, along with the remedial measure of mandatory fulfillment of contribution/nurturing obligations for the acts of denying or evading the support and nurturing obligations for parents.

In addition, according bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp Article 185 of thexem bóng đá trực tiếp, any person who maltreats or commits violent acts against his/her parent, and  has incurred an administrative penalty for the same offense shall receive a warning, face a penalty of up bóng đá hôm nay trực tiếp 03 years' community sentence or 06 - 36 months' imprisonment. Any person who maltreats or commits violent acts against his/her parent who is elderly, has severe or extremely severe disabilities, or has a fatal disease shall carry a penalty of 2–5 years' imprisonment.
