According to Article 44 of the Social Insurance Law 2024, the benefit period when caring trực tiếp bóng đá k+ a sick child is regulated as follows:

The benefit period when caring trực tiếp bóng đá k+ a sick child in one year (from January 1 to December 31) trực tiếp bóng đá k+ each child is a maximum of 20 days if the child is under 3 years old; a maximum of 15 days if the child is between 3 years old and under 7 years old.
In case both parents participate in mandatory social insurance, each parent's benefit period when caring trực tiếp bóng đá k+ a sick child is regulated under Clause 1 of this Article.
The leave period on benefits when caring trực tiếp bóng đá k+ a sick child as stipulated in this Article is calculated based on working days excluding public holidays, Tet holidays, and weekly rest days.
According to the above regulation, if both parents participate in mandatory social insurance, the benefit period when caring trực tiếp bóng đá k+ a sick child in one year trực tiếp bóng đá k+ each person (from January 1 to December 31) is as follows:
- 20 days if the child is under 3 years old- A maximum of 15 days if the child is between 3 years old and under 7 years old.

What is the sickness allowance trực tiếp bóng đá k+ employees caring trực tiếp bóng đá k+ a sick child?
According to Article 45 of the Social Insurance Law 2024, the sickness allowance is regulated as follows:
Sickness allowance
- The sickness allowance is calculated monthly based on the following criteria:
a) The salary used as the basis trực tiếp bóng đá k+ paying social insurance in the closest month before the month of leave on sickness benefit;
b) The salary used as the basis trực tiếp bóng đá k+ paying social insurance in the first month of participation in social insurance or the month of returning participation if the leave on sickness benefit is taken right in the first or returning month.
The sickness allowance trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the employees stipulated in Clauses 1 of Articles 43 and 44 of this Law is 75% of the salary used as the basis trực tiếp bóng đá k+ paying social insurance as stipulated in Clause 1 of this Article.
The sickness allowance trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the employees stipulated in Clause 2 of Article 43 of this Law is calculated as follows:
a) Equal to 65% of the salary used as the basis trực tiếp bóng đá k+ paying social insurance as stipulated in Clause 1 of this Article if mandatory social insurance has been paid trực tiếp bóng đá k+ 30 years or more;
b) Equal to 55% of the salary used as the basis trực tiếp bóng đá k+ paying social insurance as stipulated in Clause 1 of this Article if mandatory social insurance has been paid trực tiếp bóng đá k+ between 15 years and under 30 years;
c) Equal to 50% of the salary used as the basis trực tiếp bóng đá k+ paying social insurance as stipulated in Clause 1 of this Article if mandatory social insurance has been paid trực tiếp bóng đá k+ under 15 years.

Thus, the sickness allowance trực tiếp bóng đá k+ employees caring trực tiếp bóng đá k+ a sick child is 75% of the salary used as the basis trực tiếp bóng đá k+ paying social insurance.

According to Article 47 of the Social Insurance Law 2024, the documents required to apply trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the sickness allowance are regulated as follows:

- The documents required to apply trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the sickness allowance trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the employee or the employee's child being treated as an inpatient are the original or a copy of one of the following documents:
a) Discharge paper;
b) Summary of medical record;
c) Other documents proving the inpatient treatment process.

- Certificate of leave trực tiếp bóng đá k+ social insurance benefits- The original or a copy of the discharge paper indicating the required outpatient treatment period after inpatient treatment- The original or a copy of the summary of the medical record indicating the required outpatient treatment period after inpatient treatment
[3] trực tiếp bóng đá k+ the employee's child receiving medical treatment abroad, the medical documents indicating the name of the disease and treatment time, issued by the medical institution abroad and must meet the following requirements:
- Must have a Vietnamese translation authenticated or certified according to the law on authentication and certification- Must be legalized by consular authorities, except where international treaties to which the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a member have different provisions.
Note:The Social Insurance Law 2024 takes effect from July 1, 2025.
